APWA works for Pakistani-Australian women in our community, while enabling, assisting and empowering them to:
1) To arrange annual events before the Eid and the Ramadan and to organize small stalls of food, jewelry, traditional clothes, handicrafts and henna tattoos,
2) To facilitate their full participation in the wider community life and to support their integration into the wider Australian community,
3) To enhance their quality of life and to provide opportunities that help developing their personal resilience,
4) To promote small businesses by conceiving and providing new and innovative opportunities,
5) To helping improving their health and social well-being, and develop their skills and the knowledge base,
6) To provide opportunities in learning, training and educational opportunities that will improve their economic and social well being,
7) To encourage them to become economically active and independent through accessing employment, self-employment, social enterprise and volunteering opportunities,
8) To provide such opportunities that they become the role models for their families and communities, and
9) To develop their leadership skills and aspirations and to introduce their services/contributions to the wider Australian community
